Juanita Miller, 88 of Bonner Springs, KS passed peacefully at home on March 4, 2015.
Juanita was born August 19, 1926 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Pierina and Joseph Ferranti.

She was educated in the United States as wells as abroad, and graduated from Hollywood High School. Juanita attended UCLA and USC and danced professionally in theater and movies.
She worked as a TWA stewardess.

Juanita wed William D. Miller on August 2, 1948 and established a household at Lake of the Forest in Bonner Springs, Kansas. She graduated with an Associate's Degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Juanita served the community as Past President of P.E.O., Chapter FG, Bonner Springs Library Board, Investment Club, Past President of Lake of the Forest Ladies Club, Wyandotte County Mental Health Board, and held several positions at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nana and friend who created a lasting legacy. She will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her children Marie Kelly, New York, New York; Marcia Lage (Tom), Kansas City, MO; Bill Miller (Shelly), Bonner Springs, KS; eight grandchildren, William Kelly (Victoria), James Kelly, Carolyn Kelly, Jeff Lage (Amy), Andrea Lage, Katie Lage Butler (Sam), Sara Miller Folkerts (James), and Meghan Miller; five great grandchildren, Stella, Harley, Alida, Isabella, and Rose. The family suggests donations to Bonner Springs Education Foundation in lieu of flowers.
